About the Bible:
The Bible is God’s Word- infallible, inspired by the Holy Spirit and authoritative. It is a living invitation to a life-changing encounter with the heart and mind of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)
About the Trinity:
There is one God, eternal, manifesting Himself as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:18-20)
About the Father:
God is our Father, loving us with an everlasting, unconditional love. Because of the magnitude of His love for us, He initiated the restoration of our relationship with Him by giving His Son. (Jeremiah 31:3, John 3:16, 1 John 3:1)
About Jesus
Jesus is the one and only Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin Mary. He came to establish God’s Kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today- in the presence of God the Father and His people. He is fully God and fully man. (Luke 1:35; John 3:16, John 1:14)
About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a Person- whom we can know in a personal way. Just like Jesus, He is our Comforter. He is the Spirit of Truth, teaching and leading us into the discovery of all truth. When we are born again, He assures us that we are sons and daughters of God. As we are baptized [continually saturated with Him], we receive power to know Jesus and make Him known. He distributes supernatural gifts to and through His people, confirming the Word of God with signs and wonders. (John 4:16, 26, Mark 16:20).
About Salvation
We are saved by God’s grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God by repenting, believing in and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. (John 3:16; John 11:25; Ephesians 2:8)
About the Church
The Church is called by the Body of Christ. As His Body, we have a life-giving connection with Him. We are also members of one another, devoted to loving, loyal relationships, encouraging one another to discover our identity and fulfill our destiny. Moved by the biblical vision of how God intended the world to be, we participate with Him in the restoration of all things. (1 Corinthians 12)
About Baptism and Communion
The Word of God instructs the Church to celebrate two ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first, baptism by immersion, is the outward sign of what God has already done in the individual’s life and is a testimony that the person being baptized is identifying with Christ and now belongs to Him. Baptism is done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Communion commemorates the death of Jesus and is to be done until He comes again. Participation in communion reminds us that we participate in the life of Jesus Christ. Both ordinances are restricted to those who believe. (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
About Christ’s Return
We believe in the glorious, visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His overcoming Bride, His Church. Those who know Him will be caught up to be with Him eternally in heaven. Those who have rejected Him will be forever separated from Him in hell. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
The Gifts of Holy Spirit
We regard ourselves as Continuationists, meaning we believe the Gifts of Holy Spirit are still available today. The opposing viewpoint is Cessationists, where they believe the gifts of Holy Spirit are no longer available today.
We believe these gifts of revelation, utterance and power, listed in 1 Corinthians 12 thru 14, are available to all believers for the purpose of ministering to and building up others. They also have a powerful role in evangelism.
Categories of Gifts from the Holy Spirit:
Revelation Gifts (To Know) — wisdom, knowledge, distinguishing/ discerning of spirits
Utterance/Vocal Gifts (To Speak) — prophecy, various tongues, and interpretation of tongues
Power Gifts (To Act) — healing, miracles, and faith
OUR EMPHASIS ON PROPHETIC MINISTRY
We value prophecy as one of the many gifts God has given to His people for their strengthening, edification, encouragement and comfort (1 Corinthians 14:3). We believe that everyone engaged in ever-deepening relationship with God has the ability to “hear His voice”. We also understand that this ability can be developed through passionate pursuit and intentional practice (Hebrews 5:14).
Prophetic ministry is available one Sunday each month prior to the morning service. There is no cost to receive this ministry, simply register through the sign-up links below at least one week prior to the scheduled ministry time.
How We Define Marriage
We believe in the biblical view of marriage which is as a sacred earthbound covenant established by God at creation, not a human invention or mere social contract. It is a lifelong, covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect God's purposes and ultimately point to the relationship between Christ and the Church for the remainder of their lives on Earth. If one spouse passes away the other is free to remarry.
Regarding Women in Leadership
We have an egalitarian perspective, and we believe in the equality of men and women in calling, gifting, authority and leadership within the Church.
We affirm the full equality of men and women in Christ. We believe God calls and equips both men and women to serve in every area of ministry and leadership, including as ordained pastors, elders and executive team members. Rooted in the biblical truth that all believers are one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28) and that the Holy Spirit is poured out on all people for prophecy, service, and leadership (Acts 2:17-18), we release qualified women to preach, teach, shepherd, and govern alongside men. Our leadership team reflects this conviction, with women serving in pastoral, elder, executive team member, and other key roles as God gifts and calls them.
We fulfill our purpose as we…
